Research Information Desk

In response to feedback from the With Us, By Us, For Us community consultation event (April 2009) Count Me In Too developed an LGBT Research Information Desk.

This service provided a way for people in Brighton & Hove to access and use LGBT-related research. The desk was able to access all of the data gathered by Count Me In Too, as well as other LGBT research from around the world.

This free service was designed to help support LGBT individuals, groups and communities with funding bids, campaigning, advocacy and policy development.

The information desk had two functions:

  1. If you needed data gathered by Count Me In Too, it could tell you where to find this data in published reports; if this data hadn’t been published, it could produce a new short report summarising the unpublished data.
  2. If you needed non-Count Me In Too research, it could compile a list of reports, projects and contacts for other research that might be useful, at a local, national or international level.
